-Race: Half Undine
-Gender: Female
-Age: 22
-Height & Weight: 5’9 & 110 lbs
-Occupation: Traveling Mage

-Description:

Meeko wears cerulean-blue magi robes. She has a slim body, and likes to keep it that way. Her hair is long and bluish, tied in a neat ponytail. If she has time, she braids it. Her eyes are bright, electric blue.

-Personality:

Meeko has a rather quiet nature. When annoyed, she shows some sarcasm, but is usually friendly. Among her fears are the few beings who dislike Undines. They somehow have created a type of fire in which the Undine Amulet cannot protect them with. Undines are aware of the spell, and are currently studying it. She wants to get as far away with "Undine Hunters," as she called them, as possible whenever she encounters one.

-Skills:

Meeko carries with her some kind of tote bag, in which she has her Ice Orb and other magical stuff. An Undine Amulet, which portects her from fire (though not all types), hangs on her neck. Somewhere in her robes is a long knife that she uses in case her magic is somehow disabled.  She is very good with his magic, but when it comes to melee combat, she is not as skilled. She thinks that he does not need to fight physically since she can use magic against enemies. Most of her magic is based on water and ice. She never casts any fire-based spell, as it contradicts her nature. All other spells are okay with her.

As I walked out of a shop in Stafnar, I sensed something wrong with the water. It was a very bad feeling, as if something was going to happen concerning the water element. I rushed back to the inn I am staying at and gazed into my Ice Orb. My mother appeared at the Orb, like a fortune teller’s crystal ball showing images. "The Stones have been stolen!," she said. "Stones? I sensed something bad with the water element, but I didn’t feel anything about stones," I responded. "The Stones that balance the four elements. They have been removed from their Temples, and now there will be disasters of fire, wind, earth, and water. Someone must get the stones back and place them in their Temples. Can you do it?""Yes. Where are the Temples?" "It is unknown. You must look for clues. Follow the disasters. They will lead you." “I will leave immediately." "Good luck." After that I packed my things and went outside. I saw no sign of disaster, but the bad feelings remain present.  The feeling got worse. It was like I was going to get terribly ill. I peered into my Ice Orb and there, there I saw a huge tidal wave, coming towards one of the cities in Stafnar. I conjured water, took out some herbs from my bag, and quickly chanted. A puddle

of water was left behind as I disappeared. I was then teleported to Narfo, the city that was about to drown. I was not prepared to control the huge wave that was headed my way, so I tried to freeze it. I streched out my arms and shot a huge, bright blue beam that froze most of the waves. Part of the waves I was not able to freeze, and continued on. I was too weak to stop it, but then I saw fire shoot out from behind me and evaporated the remaining waves. I looked around and saw other magi who just finished their spell. They were probably Narfo’s magi. One of them approached me and asked "Are you okay?" "Yes," I replied. "Is there an inn here?" I inquired. "Yes, but you seem weakened. Can you make it?" "Sure. Thank you," I said. "No, we should be thanking you," said the other mage. "We couldn’t have stopped it if you didn’t teleport in front of us." "We were about to try and vaporate the wave, when you came and froze most of it, leaving us the chance to eliminate the remaining water. Thank you." "No problem," I replied, then I asked for the inn again, then thanked them and slowly walked to the inn. In a few hours I was feeling better. I went out and searched for clues of the whereabouts of the Water Stone. I aked the magi. "The Water Stone was responsible?" one of them asked. "It was stolen, along with the three of the elemental stones," I explained. "I am following the dangers that happen, because it’s where the stones are." “I saw three strangers yesterday. As they came, the waters shifted and began to rise," said the other. I was told that they were still here.

I saw the three strangers outside that the magi described. I followed them, trying not to let them know what I was doing. I saw them turn to an alley and there they opened a trapdoor, which was concealed well. First, I have to make sure what was there. I looked at my Ice Orb, but all I saw was grey. There must be some kind of magical protection inside. I still went in.

-Occupation: Mercenary/Mechanic

-Description:

He has an average build, somewhat tanned skin, dark brown hair and brown eyes. Andrew’s right arm is distinguished from others by a battle scar made by a spear a long time ago, although this scar does not affect him in any way.

-Personality:

Despite the fact that he doesn’t look like a strong man, he is not, in any way, weak. With well-rounded fighting skills and some knowledge of magic (He can use simple magic of any element), his abililities are often intimidating to the enemy. Also, he is highly skilled in disarming - and creating - traps and explosives.  He is known to be resourceful, creative, and a very amiable daredevil.

-Skills:

Has a Adamantium-bladed Glaive and a Draconian spear launcher (With solid-tipped and hollow-tipped (w/ liquid HE) launching spears) 10 inch steel combat knife and 12 inch steel cutting knife. Also carries a tool kit. Wears a light breastplate made of reinforced steel and rubber gloves for grip.

-Name: Bigman

-Race: Bear Folk (You expected a human, huh?)

-Gender: Male

-Age: 24

-Height & Weight: 6’6 & 220 lbs

-Occupation: Mercenary/Warrior/Shaman

-Description:

Bigman is tall, even for a Bearman. He does not have 100 percent of the inherent strength of a Bearman, although this weakness is made up for by relative dexterity, and intelligence - he is very intelligent, like Andrew. Although he is not strong by Bearman standards, his dark fur and size strike fear into the opponent or enemy. Like all Bearmen, Bigman wears the traditional short-sleeved shirt and baggy pants.

Both characters together: Andrew and Bigman have been together since they were basically infants, and were basically brothers in every way except by biology. They share many things in common, including the fact that both were abandoned at infancy, and they were lucky enough to be found and adopted by a good-natured band of settled adventurers, which included a human blademaster, an elven archer and a bearman shaman.  Although this band, who lived in a wood near a small town, was not even close to rich, there was enough to feed two extra mouths, Andrew and Bigman grew up decently fed - and received a good amount of training as well. The shaman taught Bigman the bearman’s ways of combat and some Bearman magic, while the blademaster and archer taught Andrew their own ways of combat, other magic, and miscellaneous skills. Both were taught several different forms of martial arts.

-Personality:

Quick-witted, (but not as much as Andrew) reliable, and iron-willed.

-Skills:

Has the Red Hammer (Handed, magical hammer that becomes hot enough, in combat, to melt most metals.) Throwing axes and knives, steel shortsword, and a 12 inch iron cutting knife. Wears a chain Mail, made of reinforced steel Steel and spiked gauntlets. Bigman is one of the best with the Warhammer, and is somewhat skilled with large thrown weapons. Like all Bear People, he cannot use bows, crossbows or spear launchers, since the bowstrings and triggers are usually too fine for one to use. Bigman has a fast wit, and is good with shamanic Nature/Druidic magic.

Bigman and I were approaching Narfo when we noticed a gigantic, frozen tidal wave that would have destroyed it if it were actually liquid. I pointed at it and said to Bigman, "I’m sure something’s screwing up the balance of the elements. Narfo borders on a lake’"  Bigman agreed. "We should enter the city and ask the magi about this."

[Bigman]

We were only a few miles away from the city, and we would have arrived there in less than an hour. But something didn’t want us to make it alive. A massive golem, about eight feet tall, stood in our way. Well, it’s not that big to me, but to a small human like Andrew, the golem is one helluva giant. Andrew and I could’ve ridden around it as well, if it didn’t kill his horse and my warbear with energy blasts. We had no choice but to fight it.  Andrew and I knew that the golem is a heavily armoured war golem that can fire energy blasts with its arms. But what surprised us was that this golem was modified to be able to launch fireballs and ice bolts and all those other elemental spells at us.  I tried to break it down with acid spells, but for some strange reason the metal armour on the golem didn’t corrode. That thing just couldn’t be stopped, and it almost killed me as well.

[Andrew]

Thank the gods I remembered to repair my spear launcher before we set out for Narfo. I quickly assembled the weapon as Bigman tried his very best to hold the war golem off. I loaded a spear in record time - less than   seconds - and as Bigman was knocked several metres back by two simultaneous fireball impacts, I fired. The spear ripped through the chest of the golem.  The huge thing was easy to kill now, as it staggered around, unstable. I charged, leapt up and stabbed the golem’s head with my glaive. Bigman finished the manouver, as I landed on the ground, by beating my weapon through the golem’s head with his warhammer. We ran back - and I picked up my glaive as the unstable monster exploded, vaporizing my horse and Bigman’s warbear.  We continued towards the city, too tired to talk to each other. I’ve been counting the golems - we’ve faced more than ten after we set off for Narfo.

Undine, we should find a way to have my characters and Meeko in one party.

IC:

By the time we were inside Narfo, the tidal wave problem’s been solved.  Bigman and I looked for the city magi, and eventually one of them found them sitting on a bench, exhausted.  I asked for information about the tidal wave. He said that there were these three mysterious strangers who might have been involved. He also mentioned that a half-Undine was searching for them, and that Bigman and I should look for this half-Undine.

[Bigman]

We found the half-Undine. Apparently, she found the strangers, and were following them stealthily. We quietly went after the half-Undine, and saw her disappear down some hole in an alley. We searched the alley, and found a well-concealed trapdoor. Of course, we cautiously entered.

I was a few steps off when I heard the trapdoor close. I looked around and saw two more strangers. One human, one bearman. I backed away a bit. "You’re with them, aren’t you?" I asked in a low voice. "No, we’re the good guys. We just arrived here, and followed you." I was relieved. "I’m Meeko," I said, shaking their hands. "I’m Andrew," said the human. "I’m Bigman," said the bearman.  After a short talk we went in. It seemes that we have entered a catacomb. Cobwebs were hung almost on every corner of the ceiling. There were no sign of the three strangers. As we ventured in the catacomb, the path ceemed to widen. We began to hear voices, and we stopped to listen. "Do you think they got the other three stones?" "Yes. I know it. But I fear that there are people who are trying to stop us. The wave was frozen yesterday. We must be careful." Andrew peeked in and told us there were three inside. There was also a blue-green stone inside. "That’s the Stone’" I whispered. He also added that the three seemed to be mage-fighters.

I took a better look at the strangers and the Stone. I saw that the Stone was just lying there on the ground, on top of a cloth. I told Bigman and Meeko, the half-Undine, about this. I also came up with a crude plan that may or many not work. "We need something to hold them down long enough so that one of us can grab the Stone."  "But what can we do to hold them down?" Meeko asked.  "Don’t forget that all of us know some magic," Bigman replied. "I know what to do."  Bigman reached in his pack and took out a small pouch. He opened it, and hurled it in the direction of the strangers.

[Bigman]

I threw a pouch of seeds at the warrior-mages. Of course they noticed us and the pouch, and one of them instantly reached for the Stone. I knew the spell to use for this situation, obviously. I muttered the simple spell: "Thorny vines of poison tree strap the foes in place’"  The pouch disintegrated, and the now glowing seeds fell to the ground, at the warriors’ feet. The seeds grew into vines, and the vines tossed them high into the air, and held them up there. This was a common trick used by Andrew and I in battle.

[Andrew]

After the warriors were bound, I instantly dashed for the Stone. I picked it up and threw it to Bigman, who handed it to Meeko to place in a secure place.  The warriors, by then, had freed themselves from the grip of the vines and landed in front of me, weapons ready. In a natural reaction I backed a few steps. One of them, the leader of the three, spoke up: "Hand over the Stone, and you may be able to live."  Bigman and Meeko emerged from cover and joined me. Seeing the arrogance of the strangers, I smiled. "Does that mean you’re going to try to kill us now?"  Bigman drew his warhammer and I readied my glaive for battle.

The enemies, and Meeko, stared at him with surprised looks. "I’m not your stereotypical idiot warrior you know." He readied his glaive again, and he and Bigman charged as Meeko readied her magic…

Surprise’

IC:

Andrew and Bigman were able to hit and severely injure two of the enemies. The leader formed a barrier around him before we got near him. The leader spoke, "We will meet again." Then he recited incantations. I knew he was trying to teleport, and I quickly recited a counterspell for the incantaion. I was too late, however. He was gone. The barrier faded after. The catacombs began to quake and collapse. We escaped just in time and felt a quite strong quake as we reached the ground. It was good to be outdoors again. I saw that the two magi were trying to put the wave back in its place. I took out the Water Stone and muttered incantations. The frozen wave disappeared and returned to the sea. They looked back to us and waved, smiling. We waved back. We have the Water Stone, and I had a better feeling. But with it outside of its Temple, the other three Stones stolen, and the leader still existing, I knew it was not yet over.

I journeyed to a town called Narfo from a smaller town called Duranga. As soon as I entered the town, I saw an odd group standing about 10 feet from me, which appeared quite strange. In this group was a Half Undine, Bear Folk, and a Human. They looked over at me as soon as I moved. In the half Undine's hands is a glowing blue-green stone. I wonder what it is. I go over to the odd group to see what is going on and to see if they know what is causing the disasters all over…

"We're all glad that you will come with us. We'll need all the help we can get, because this quest will not be a smooth ride. I also have a suggestion about finding one of the stones.  "Most of us should know that here is a town about three days travel from Narfo, on the hills, named Ketarl. I believe there is a dead volcano near Ketarl. If this volcano erupts, this may mean that the Fire Stone is here."

As we were walking, about half a mile away from the inn, I felt sneezy. Quickly as I can, I took out my handkerchief, which was light blue in color, bordered with Undine runes, and bore my name in Undine, and sneezed. "Bless you," said Andrew, and I thanked him. I always wondered why humans do that, even if I’m half human, but that’s another story.  Then my nose turned blue like my robes: ceruluean. This is the part of sneezing I hate the most: My nose always turns into a shade of blue. The last time I sneezed, it became teal. Then I looked at my hankerchief. The letters that bordered it as a design were glowing, and snowflakes were upon it. Just as I expected. "There’s a storm coming tomorrow," said I. "How do you know? Are all storms caused by Undines sneezing?" asked Bigman. "Not really. Undines’ sneezes are simply warnings of bad weather, whether it be a storm or a blizzard or a tsunami," I explained. I looked at my handkerchief once again, and the runes stopped glowing. The snowflakes remained, and there they will stay until the storm arrives and finishes pouring itself. "Nothing to worry about," I said after a moment. We proceeded on our way.

"Whoa’" I exclaimed. "War Golems’" shouted Andrew. Yipes, here we go’ I wasn’t expecting them this early. More rocks came. I froze some of them and put a spell so they would melt. The others did a great job in taking care of the rest of the rocks. It eventually stopped, and we were all on our guard. A War Golem suddenly came running from the east, then one from the west, then one north, and another one from the south. We were surrounded by four War Golems. I quickly thought of a spell that cound get us out of here, but my nervousness is slowing me down. However, I still tried...

Andrew managed to destroy two of them from behind a large glacial rock with four well-aimed launching spears on each one, thank the gods. He suddenly called to me as I ran back to help him: "Back up Meeko’"  I turned to her. She was able to hit the Golems with ice and water spells, but all the spellcasting is seriously draining her. And Clyde’s arrow launcher just got jammed, so now he has nothing to pierce the Golems with until Andrew has time to get it fixed’  So I got to Meeko as she ran as fast as she could for cover. I deflected the Golems’ projectiles for her as they WERE very fast. I hope Andrew would have something good up his sleeve...

[Andrew]

Now I know that the hollow screw-on spearheads, with an opening at the screw part, that I bought had a purpose.  I took one of the spearheads off a launching spear. Then I mixed a high explosive fluid and carefully poured it into the hollow spearhead so it would not explode. I then screwed it onto the spear shaft. I cried to everyone else, "Stay down under cover, and do not get up’"  I aimed for the centre golem’s chest, where the important fueling mechanisms were, and fired.  The piercing effect was as expected, with one exception.  The entire War Golem was blown to shreds, and parts of the other Golems’ adjacent arms were destroyed as well, exposing some form of complicated circuitry.  Meeko and Clyde, with Bigman deflecting the remaining War Golems’ attacks, finished off easily with newfound, temporary short circuiting abilities.  I know now that half my launching spears should have hollow heads so I can use explosives.

Fortunately for us, we didn’t encounter for the rest of the day, or at night. The peace was actually extremely good for me. I spent half the night, while the other three were sleeping, preparing all the explosive fluid, pouring it into unused hollow spearheads and fitting them into spear shafts. I also spent an hour modifying my spear launcher so I can load faster, and fire it while under water. I’m not the type of person that needs much sleep.  We began to travel along the foothills of the Ketarl Range, named after the man who founded Ketarl, the next morning. We noticed that all the glacial rocks were at in the valleys of the range. Clyde also noticed that there was blood and pieces of metal weapons on some of the rocks - and lava was also present. Something is seriously wrong...

Wiseman, see if you can get our party to travel to Amadon to find the firestone. Amadon is also very dangerous, so this can be a test to see how our characters can survive. Let me know when we go to Amadon and I’ll transfer our characters there…

As we travelled along the rough, hilly, glacial rock-laden terrain of the range of Ketarl, we noticed a long War Golem on top of a hill, about half a kilometre away. It was a calm situation, so we decided to let Andrew test out the range of his spear launcher after he modified it last night.  The spear was fired that far, alright. The high explosive worked, too. The entire golem was blown to scraps, save for the arms which were blasted metres away.  Then we realised it was something we shouldn’t have done. A huge amount of War Golems rose from the ground on top of the hills closest to us, grabbed a nearby glacial rock, and rolled them down the hill at us. At first we all thought that we could just blast them away. Then Andrew realised and told us that each could crush an elephant.

[Andrew]

We ran for our lives, in the general direction of Ketarl. After half an hour of running and dodging huge boulders, I noticed that Meeko’s breath was beginning to give way and she would pass out any minute from dehydration. I tried to carry her, but realised the hard way that I can’t carry someone roughly my size and  80 pounds of equipment at the same time. So I carefully handed her to good, strong Bigman as we were running.  Eventually, we escaped the golems, and ran straight into a camp of travelling merchants. Fortunately for us, they were friendly. Bigman laid Meeko down on the ground. She was barely conscious thanks to dehydration, but at least we knew the merchants would have some water readily available…

We settled down and waited to see what to do next. Meeko started to gain her conscious back and woke up asking what happened. "You passed out." I said to her. I turn to Andrew and Bigman. "Well, what do we do next?" I asked them. "To find the fire stone, we might have to get pass the war Golems, which it would be best to rest and get ready to fight them." Andrew said.

After the brush with the War Golems and nearly getting killed, we decided to rest until the next morning. Andrew also volunteered to fix Clyde’s arrow launcher, as well. It was also a good thing that the strange, veiled travellers were planning to stay for the night as well, since it’s always safer in a large group.

[ Andrew]

It was somewhat late into the night, about two hours before midnight, and Bigman, Meeko and Clyde were already fast asleep. I was just about to screw the last nut into Clyde’s arrow launcher when one of the travellers came inside our tent. The traveller took off the veil - he was an Orcish witch doctor’ He tried to speak to me in Commontongue: "I disturb you?"  Bigman and I had dealt with Orcs before. Some were friendly and practiced shamanism and perhaps duridism, and some were hostile demon-worshippers. I could tell, by the natural calmness in his broad voice and facial features, that he was the friendly type. "Well, no," I answered as I finished screwing in the nut and put the sophisticated weapon and my tools down.  "Good," the Orc said in a quiet, low voice. "I son of Chief of this clan. Warblade Clan. Chief sent me to you. He and you must talk. Very important. He wait outside."  "Okay," I was about to get up and leave the tent, but the witch doctor stopped me. He said, "You wake up friends first. I wait outside also. This important, and friends must hear. This about Fire Stone. Chief and elders know much. Please wake up friends and come to us."  "Um," I strangely had a suspicion that this was a trap. "How can we believe you?"  "Warblade clan most honest and holy of all Orcs’" The witch doctor bellowed in a half-scream that almost woke everyone up. "We battle world evil and bad Orcs’" With that, the Orc left the tent for his Chief. I decided to wake everyone up…

I was awakened by a foriegn loud voice. I opened my eyes and saw an Orc going out of the tent. I was about to freeze him, but I saw an emblem that belonged to the Warblade Clan of the Orcs. I’ve read about them before. "What’s going on?" I asked Andrew.  "The Chief of the Warblade Clan of the Orcs want to talk to us." Then he added, "About the Fire Stone. Help me wake the others."Clyde was enjoying his sleep, which was kind of deep. I can’t wake him up. I pointed my finger on his face and splashed water, which finally woke him up. "Wha-’" he exclaimed. “Sorry to take you away from dreamland, but we have an unexpected meeting waiting to take place," I explained.

I look around to see everyone here and that it was just a dream. "What’s wrong?" Asked Meeko. “Nothing.” I said. "We have a meeting with someone who knows where the fire stone is." She said. "Well, lets go" Andrew said. I get up and we head out to meet this person…

IC:

We all go outside to meet with the chief Orc of the Warblade Clan. I leave the tent with Andrew and Bigman in front of Meeko and me. Outside the tent were six Orcs standing in front of us in a half circle. "Greetings." the Orc in middle of the half circle says. He looks like he is the chief Orc because of the staff he carries that has an orb on top and his long dark purple cape moving to the small winds. "Greetings to you to." Andrew says to the Orc chief while Meeko and me wonder what is going to happen. The chief Orc suddenly steps forward towards us and pulls something out from his belt on his waist. I draw my sword and have the blade pressed against his neck. The blade glows bright blue.  "It’s okay!" The Orc chief says to me and shows me some kind of map. I pull my sword away from his neck and keep it by my side. "Sorry, I am just being cautionous." I said to him. "It’s okay." the chief Orc says. "It’s a map to a land called Amadon." the Orc says to us. "Amadon?" Andrew says looking confused. "I came to give you a map to Amadon to some ruins where the fire stone might be." The chief Orc says to us. "I heard of Amadon before, but I heard it is very dangerous place to go to." Meeko says. "You will fight many enemies and face many dangers there, but you must go there and find the fire stone to stop the disasters." the chief Orc says to us. "Well, we will have to prepare on our way to Amadon when we travel by sea to get there." Andrew says. The chief Orc gives us the map and tells us good luck. The other Orcs near the chief Orc gives us some weapons and food and then they all leave the camp. We go back to sleep in our tent to rest up for the long dangerous trip...

Morning comes and Bigman pushes me until I wake up. "You sleep like a rock my friend," he says to me. "Yeah, it’s a bad habit" I say back to him. Meeko is still sleeping and Andrew hands me my arrow launcher. "Here you go, it should work better now," He says. "Thanks’" I say back to him. Meeko is still fast a sleep. I decided to go over and wake her up, but to tease her a little. "I am the evil spirit, if you don’t wake, I shall kill you!" I say to her while she is sleeping. Suddenly Meeko wakes up and grabs my arm and freezes it. "AH! You froze my arm.” I said to her with my arm frozen in the air. "Sorry, Don’t do that because I thought you were the evil spirit" she says to me and then unfreezes my arm. "Stop playing around and lets get going" Andrew says to us.  We leave the camp and travel to a huge dock not far from the camp and look at the ships. "I never went on a ship before," Meeko says. "I have and I don’t like it" Bigman says to us. "They are perfectly safe," Andrew says to us. Andrew looks at me. "Have you been on one?" he says to me. "Yeah, lots of times. It’s the only way to get around, it’s not like you can swim to another country," I said to him jokingly. "Yeah, your right" he says back to me and laughs.  A heavy scruffy looking guy comes out of the ship store and comes over to us. "You see what you like?" He says to us in a load voice. "Yes, how about that one" Andrew says pointing to a nice size ship. "Ah, yes’ That is very expensive," the ship owner says. "How about that one" Meeko points out to another ship and says. "Hmmm... Not bad. It could get us to where we need to go" I said. "Okay, we will take that one" Andrew says to the ship owner and gives the money to him. "Thanks for the business" the ship owner says to us and walks back to his shop. "Where’s the captain?" Meeko says. "He’ll be here soon," Andrew says to him.  We all get on the ship and the captain shows up after us. The ship is a nice size, just big enough for all of us to fit on it and have our own space. "Aye, mates’" the captain says. "You must be the captain?" Andrew says to him. "Yes, I sure am. You guys are a weird looking bunch there, oh well, lets get settled here so we get moving" the captain says. The ramp goes up from the dock and the captain heads to the control room. The ship suddenly floats slowly upwards and the huge wings of the ship come out of the sides and the captain tells us that we are ready to go. The ship starts moving towards the open sea, to Amadon…

OOC:

The ships in the End World can fly over the seas, but they are not allowed to on land because they don’t go too far up and could hit someone, it is just enough to fly over the sea. The ships look like a normal ship in the time of dragons and knights with sails and everything, but they can float by the huge wing like paddles that come out the sides of the ship to give the ship a lift and stay in air. The wind paddles are controlled by machinery. The ships are also equipped with laser canons incase of any problems…

I felt so good to be around my natural element. I was rather disappointed to know that the ships float. I talked to some fishes in the water. They were great company. "I never thought sailing could be this fun," I remarked. "Ha, I’m sure this is just te beginning," said Andrew.  I was asleep when some disturbing presence awoke me. I found Bigman peering over the sea, looking at something. "What is it?" I asked. "Oh, nothing. It’s just hat I thought I saw two Sea People over there." I looked, and he was right. There were indeed Sea People there. I was about to greet them, but I noticed something was awfully familiar about them. Then hit me. "Call the others, hurry’" I said to Bigman. "What’s th rush?" said Clyde. He was just walking towards us. "Andrew’ Come here, quick’" called out Bigman. He was there in an instant. I didn’t remove my eyes off the Sea People. They were of the most ferocious group among all Sea People.  "Those Sea People are called Serenals. They are the most ferocious of all Sea People, and they don’t like sea travellers."  One of them cried out a high-pitched voice. It was the call for Deronga, a giant sea serpent.

The gigantic sea serpent sped towards us. The ship’s lasers couldn’t even scratch it. This was not good.  Deronga rammed its giant head into the ship, rocking it wildly and nearly sending two sailors overboard. Then I remembered my augmented spear launcher, which could fire under water, although it was heavier than a normal spear launcher.  "Try to hold them off’" I yelled to Meeko, Bigman and Clyde as I ran down, back to my quarters to get my spear launcher and a pack of explosive spears.

[Bigman]

I hated travelling in the seas for a reason. This was one of them. I threw an axe at Deronga to see how strong it was. The axe landed, but it didn’t even get through the thick skin. This snake was huge and powerful.  Clyde, fortunately, had his launcher here. He fired a few arrows at Deronga, and the arrows actually went through the thick skin, although they didn’t do much damage. And since the snake was of the same element as Meeko, she could barely even deal any damage’  Deronga struck the ship again, this time sending several sailors out into the sea. We and the gunners almost gave up on the hopeless fight. Then out came Andrew with his watertight spear launcher and a pack of spears.

[Andrew]

I loaded a spear into my weapon, and strapped my glaive to my back. Meeko yelled to me, "Three men were thrown overboard by Deronga’"  The captain then said, "Forget the men. Just kill the damn beast so they can at least have a decent death."  I tried to do both.  I jumped overboard, and dived into the water. The water somewhat stung my eyes, but after fighting as a mercenary, you have to get used to fighting in an environment that was hostile to you, but friendly to the enemy, and still prevail. I looked around and saw Deronga swimming away, getting ready for another charge. I surfaced for some valuable air, then dived down to position myself in a safe spot.  The snake charged.  I could feel the waves of the water forcing me back as the snake advanced on us. I aimed at the snake’s head with the help of a sniper scope...

[Bigman]

Andrew the innovative mechanic saved the day, although our keeping the snake’s attention was very, very crucial.  I could see, off the corner of my eye, a spear spiral through the water. It pierced Deronga’s left eye, through the skull, and exploded when the head was inside the brain.  Andrew surfaced, and climbed up a rope ladder as some fo we helped to rescue the three men who were thrown overboard.  He and I bowed to the ocean when we continued travelling, to the general direction where Deronga was sniped with an explosive spear. It was a grisly death for such an awesome, respected and feared creature.

I don’t think it’s over yet because you forgot the two Serenals. Now face the evil giant squid…

IC:

I was relieved that Deronga was dead, but the two Serenals still remained. One of them cried out a high-pitched voice and suddenly the sea was moving upwards fast towards the ship. The water went up so high, it hit the ship and rocked us, almost knocking us off our feet. Suddenly a very long large dark red tentacle flew on the front of the ship towards me. I quickly jumped to the side and the tentacle came down hard on the deck of the ship where I was and broke a large hole in it. After that, the tentacle goes back into the water. The captain looks up at us from the large hole above him. "Ahhh, kill that damn thing before it destroys the ship" the captain yells at us in rage.  The water moves upward again, rocking the ship and a giant red squid appears slowly out of the sea. This is the hugest squid I ever saw. It looks at us like a piece of meat. "Oh, jeeze" Andrew says. "I don’t think we can kill this thing," Meeko says. "Your right, now lets get out of here’" Andrew shouts. I get up and the giant squid hits me with one of its tentacles and knocks my arrow launcher in the sea. I pull out my sword and get ready to tear the giant squid apart.  The giant squid grabs Bigman with one of its tentacles and carries him over to its face. Bigman reaches one of his arms out and punches in one of the giant squid’s black beady eyes really hard. The giant squid screams and throws Bigman out into the sea. Now, the squid goes for Meeko. Andrew gets in front of Meeko and aims his spear launcher at the giant squid, but too late, the giant squid picks up Andrew and tosses him off the ship. The giant squid reaches his large tentacles at Meeko once again. I move back and get ready to run towards the giant squid. "You messed with the wrong people!" I yelled at the giant squid. I hold my sword and run towards the giant squid. I run until I reach the front end of the ship and jump off and stab my sword into the giant squid’s head. I am hanging from my sword that is all the way into the giant squid’s head. The giant squid screams really loud and its tentacles move away from Meeko. It shakes itself and my sword comes out and I fall into the sea next to it. I quickly swim away and it screams louder and suddenly Andrew climbs back on the ship and yells "Take this, you giant piece of crap!". He aims his spear launcher towards the squid’s head and fires. The spear goes through the giant squid’s head and it screams and then suddenly falls towards the ship. Its tentacles land on the ship and the ship crashes into the sea. The wings of the ship stop moving. The giant squid suddenly stops moving and it dies still hanging on the front of the ship by its tentacles.  Bigman climbs back onto the ship. "Damn, that was one hard creature to kill’" Andrew says. Meeko goes over to the giant squid to make sure it is dead. The captain comes from above and says to Andrew that the ship will need to be repaired before we set out to Amadon. "It won’t be long, will it?" Andrew says. "No, just a couple of days," the captain says. "Okay, we can relax until then," Meeko says. Andrew looks around. "Where’s Clyde?" Andrew says. Meeko looks down off the side where I was and saw me swimming towards the ship. "He’s over there’" Meeko says. "You thought I was dead, didn’t you?" I asked them. "After what you did, yeah I thought the squid got you," Andrew says. "Why did you do something crazy like that?" Bigman asks me. "Well, I wasn’t very happy to lose my arrow launcher." I said to Bigman.  Meeko, Andrew, and Bigman move away to the deck where they can’t see me. I get ready to climb the rail on the side of the ship and suddenly I hear a weird noise behind me. I climb the rail a little and look behind me. The two Serenals pop out of the water and one knocks me off the rail. I try to fight them off, but one of them knocks me out before I do...

OOC:

My character will be kidnapped by the Serenals, so Clyde will have to fight his way out and find his way back to the party. You won’t be able to rescue him, but he’ll be back after meeting a new character...

IC:

We turned around as soon as we heard the familiar, high-pitched voice of the Serenals. The three of us ran quickly over to the side of the ship and saw that they had just taken Clyde prisoner. Their fins disappeared in the sea. "Let’s go’" said Bigman. "No, wait’" I warned. "I hear incantations from one of them." I listened, then realized the water spell that was just cast. "Oh, no’ They just sealed off the water from us. If we dive in, the water willl become thin as air." "Which means that we will hit the bottom of the ocean floor?" asked Andrew. "Precisely. It’s one irreversible spell. We could just hope for the best that Clyde would escape. Serenals aren’t what you would call ‘civilized’."

OOC:

The spell only works for the three of us. Anyone else will safely plunge into real water, so if Ice Dude plans to enter through diving, he can (unless he starts in the water, the spell won’t be very useful to Serenals).

IC:

"The Water Stone can’t do anything about it, too," I said, after trying. "Any idea how to pass the time?" asked Andrew. "Let’s practice fighting. I’m sure we’ll need it on Amadon," suggested Bigman. "Leave me out, I’m only for magic," I said, smiling. I thought preparing for Amadon isn’t such a bad idea. I walked over to a place in the ship where I can concentrate. I sat down and placed my Ice Orb in front of me. Closing my eyes, I meditated and concentrated on my magic. I felt the Orb glow faintly. Suddenly, I had visions flash across my mind. I didn’t expect them, so I only caught a few of them. I saw the Fire Stone, but the location was anonymous. It was causing danger and wreaking havoc to a town. A had appeared under the stone and held it. The hand was pale. I opened my eyes and found myself breathing fast. I was sweating. Sweat’ I quickly took out a gourd from my bag and contained my perspiration there.  (I pour the sweat into a dish and anyone can see the vision)

Meeko was right. Since we had nothing to do, we might as well go practice our skills. We remembered those wooden figures we had from Blademaster Kyrea (OOC: one of those that adopted Andrew and Bigman) that could be used to summon training golems. We went to an open space in a large storage compartment in the ship, just big enough for practice. We positioned the figures in a line, on the far side, and recited the summoning spell from the close side.  Six bronze golems, each with a height of around   and a half feet, appeared with a flash of blue light. They lumbered towards us.

[Bigman]

The golems really reminded us of home, and how Kyrea and her comrades trained us in combat. We knew that practicing what we knew almost to mastery would be too easy, so we each used our weaker skills. Andrew attacked the golems at close range with his glaive, while I threw my traditional incendiary pilums at them, searing the bronze and melting the insides.  Soon the golems were destroyed, and returned to their wooden form. We repeated the process a few times.  About an hour later, Meeko called us from above. We went up to see what was going on...

[Andrew]

We saw Meeko sitting on the ground, with a bowl of what looked like sweat on her lap.  "Andrew’ Bigman’" Meeko exclaimed. "What took you so long?"  "It takes time to clean up from practice, you know," I answered.  Meeko had dire news. She had seen a possible location of the Fire Stone in Amadon - and the vision was also of burning towns, cities and villages. We told the captain to move at top speed...

I took it out and held it on my plam. It was vibrating and glowing, anlong with a faint ringing sound.  Bigman walked over and noticed it, too. "We must be getting close. I suppose they react like this when near one another," he commented. "Yeah, I think so too," I answered. A few seconds later Andrew came running towards us. "What’s with the stone?" he asked. "It could be a signal that we’re getting near," said Bigman. "What’s the matter?" "Serenals. Five of them. They’re swimming like crazy, and they’re catching up on us." Oh yes, i forgot to mention. the Bear People had mastered the purification of most alkali and alkaline earth metals (ex. calcium, sodium, lithium, magnesium). most of these purified metals are used as parts of incendiary missiles, mainly javelins and pilums.

IC:

Meeko, Bigman and I rushed to the stern of the ship. The ship’s lasers were already firing on the Serenals, but they all seemed to miss.  Meeko’s water magic didn’t seem to work, so we had her go to a safe place, with a couple of armed sailors. Meanwhile, I fired spears at the Serenals while Bigman handed me the ammo.  But there was one problem. The Serenals were so dextrous I could not hit them, even with precision aiming aids.

[Bigman]

How could I have forgotten about the masteries of my own people? They had discovered the ways to purify different flammable metals’ I had Andrew try to hold them off while I ran down to the armory to grab the incendiary launching spears that contained metal-of-salt (sodium), and the ones with Greek fire in the hollow shafts.  I ran back to Andrew with the spears. I was just on time as well. He looked as if he could have been knocked off the ship if another spell had hit him.  I pulled Andrew back in balance and handed him the quivers of spears. He instantly knew what to do.

[Andrew]

Thank the achievements of the Bear People’ Concentrated metal-of-salt and Greek fire were all I needed to create a temporary barrier’ I fired the entire quiver incendiary spears at the water just behind us, creating a small, but strong basic environment that the Serenals knew they couldn’t get through because it would react with their bodies. I also used the spears with Greek fire to make the environment even more hostile for them, for the area would continues to burn for the rest of the day - long enough for them to lose us. I also hope that the Sea People had never seen metal-of-salt and Greek fire, so they would be too afraid of us to make another assault.

"That will surely keep them off our backs for now," said Bigman, looking truimphant with his achievement with Andrew.  The captain appeared and told us we were only about two and a half miles away. The stone was vibrating so strong it seemed like it was going to burst. "Can it calm down?" Andrew asked. "I don’t know, I’ll ask one of our archmagi for this one," I said. I went to my room and took out my Ice Orb. Holding it on my hand, I droned on with a repetitive incantaion for a few seconds. Helena, the most powerful of the Undine archmagi, appeared inside. I was relieved. She could definitely help. "Why, hello, Meeko. What is it?" she asked. "We acquired the Water Stone, as you know, and it’s vibrating very strongly. I think it might burst if we go nearer to the location of the Fire Stone," I replied. "I will fix it for you. Hold on, I’ll need the help of a Sea Person." The Orb went blank for a few seconds, then she came back with a Norcan Sea Person. They both recited a long spell and as they did, the Stone seemed to calm down. "Take great care. Never let two Elemental Stones go into one vessel. They will destroy each other. If this happens, the balance will be forever lost. Remember," said the Sea Person. She talked in a weary voice. "We will. Thank you. And thank you too, Helena." "Oh, no problem. If you need help, feel free to seek it from us." The connection broke off.  "It’s fixed," I said to Andrew and Bigman. Then I explained about how they can destroy each other.

Everyone he meets likes him. He is also very lazy and appears to be a little stoned… He is a famous guitar player and lead singer of a famous band of da Sea People’s underwater home world.

-Skills:

He carries a guitar on his back made of a skeleton of a shark that it is flatted out to make it look like a normal guitar. Da guitar is an electric style one, it plays very good. He can also use his guitar as a weapon because it is very sharp and it does not brake because the shark bones are heavy and strong. He can also use his fins on his arms to cut someone open. He has no armor, but he can use his fins to shield himself.  He’s really not that good at fighting.

They put him on da chair behind me and also tie him up. “There. Now there’s two slaves to help do the dirty work.” The leader pirate says. He walks to me. “So, fish head, yea got anything more smart comments to say?” He says. “Forget you!” I said. “Good. Shut your pie hole until I need you.” He says walking away with da others. Suddenly the dude behind me wakes up slowly hunching forwards with his hair hanging down..

You guys can head to Amadon without me, but don’t get to the firestone until me and Ice Dude can catch up with you. Right now, I’m trying to find away to escape…

A stoned sea folk? This should be interesting…

IC:

*Argh* As I move my hurting head upwards. It appears that I’m on a ship and tied to a chair. “Dude!” Someone near me suddenly says. “Huh? Who and where are you?” I asked. “Right behind you bro also tied up in a chair.” The mysterious person says. Apparently he’s right, as I turn around the best I can and see someone behind me, but can’t see him too good. I move around to break loose the rope, shifting both chairs hard, but no use. “Doesn’t work bro, I already tried it.” He says. “Just give me some time, I’ll figure it out.” I said back. Suddenly pirates appear in view and move towards us. “Pirates?” I said to myself. “Dude, we were sold by the Serenals to these guys.” He suddenly said. “What? Why?” I asked. “It’s a money making market now bro and it sucks for us.” He answers. The pirates are in plain view now. One guy with the long brown trench coat, another, a huge muscular guy wearing black pants and tan top, and the other three, a smaller old guy, a scruffy looking slim guy, and a dwarf, stand before me…

“I see your wake.” The man with the trench coat says. “Yeah, you mind untying me?” I ask. He smirks. “And if I don’t?” He says smartly. “You’ll be asking for trouble.” I said back. “Meh!” He says. The others laugh. “Why don’t I give you some options. One, shut your pie hole, or two, I’ll have this big guy mangle you.” With my mind and my fingers pointing down, the hunting knife in my left boot slips out and comes to my hand. “Dudes, let us go or ya butts is grass!” The person behind me says. I slowly cut the ropes trying to not draw attention. “What yea say!” The trench coat man says going to him. “You heard me!” He yells back. “Do you want to die today?” The trench coat man asks him. I see this is getting ugly, since these are not professional pirates, but idiots. *WHAM* As I stomp hard on one of the boards of the deck and it goes up hard hitting the huge muscular guy between his legs. The ropes cut loose. I quickly get up and wrap the ropes around the slim guy’s neck and strangle him from behind. *Thud* As he hits the ground. *SHWING* As the trench coat man realizes whats going on and pulls out a curved sword. “YOUR GOING TO DIE FOR THAT!” He yells. The older guy pulls out a pole cannon and points it towards me with the trench coat man still behind me. The dwarf pulls out an axe while the huge guy is in pain on the floor. I stand in combat position until the trench coat guy suddenly swings his sword. I duck quickly and he misses and slices it into the older guy’s neck. “AHH!” Blood forms and drips down his neck. *Thud* As the older guy eventually falls to the ground. The trench coat man just stands there surprised of what he done. *THUMP* As the dwarf leaps up with his axe in the air and slams it into the ground next to me. I rolled in time to miss getting hit. *Whack* As the dwarf suddenly swings his axe again and hits my right leg. “AH!” I yell. “ARGH!” As the huge muscular guy grabs the loose board from the deck and swings it my way, but misses since I duck once again, and hits the dwarf hard. *WHACK* *Splash* As the dwarf falls into the sea. I get up, with my leg hurting like hell. “YOU!” As the huge muscular guy picks me up by my shirt in the air. This guy is like almost seven feet tall. Why is it always me to fight the huge guys? I ask myself. *WHAM* *Multiple CLUCKs* As he swings me in the air and throws me into a bunch of empty crates. Ouch! He towers towards me and swings his fist. I quickly grab a create. *CRUNCH* As he punches though it. *Wham* As I kick his knee hard and he falls backwards to the deck. *Thud* I quickly get up as so does he and I jump on him and grab both of my arms around his neck from the front. I punch him hard several times, but he swings me upwards and throws me down. *CRUNCH* As the chairs me and someone else where sitting in got crushed by me landing on them. “OUCH!” I yell. Apparently the one that was sitting behind me is loose because he got up quickly before I fell. I see him now, he’s a Sea Folk. His appearance seems strange, but the trench coat man comes up from behind him. “Behind you!” I yell. The huge muscular guy picks me up by the back of my shirt and hovers me over his head. The trench coat man gets closer but the Sea Folk turns around and whacks him with some kind of guitar and knocks him to the deck and knocking him out. “AH!” As The huge muscular guys gets ready to slam me down, but I punch him hard in the head. He loses grip and I fall to the deck. I quickly get up and swing my leg towards him, but he grabs it while I swing my other leg and whack him hard in the head. *THUD* As we both fall to the deck. He gets up before I do and grabs a chair from the side. “AH!” As he swings the chair down on me, but I quickly kick the chair and it smacks him hard in the face. *CRunch* As the chair breaks. He shakes his head and he hovers towards me once again. I quickly sweep him with my legs. *THUD* *BANG* As he hits the ground hard and hitting his head on the rails. Like they always say, the bigger they are, they harder they fall…

The Sea Folk looks at me and then down at the huge guy laying on the deck. “Hey dude, yeah know what to do with the trench coat dude?” He asks me pointing behind him. I get up with a bloody leg and reach over and grab some ropes from the boxes in the corner. “Let’s tie him up.” I responded. I grab the trench coat guy by his arms and drag him over to one of the sail poles. I finish tieing him up and stand back up to look at the Sea Folk. I have seen Sea Folk before, but this guy seems different in some way then most. I hold my hand out. “Um, Clyde.” I say to him. He looks at me and pauses, then he holds his hand out to shake mine. “Mikau.” He says and nods. I walk over to the slim guy and grab his legs and drag him over to the rails. “Grab his arms.” I said to Mikau. “Dude, that’s a dead guy.” He responses. “Would you wrather take the legs?” I ask. He just looks at me still standing there. “Well, we can’t leave these guys laying around now, can we?” I said to him. He comes over to where I am and I walk over to grab the arms. We lift him up and toss him over the side. *SPLASH* I go over and grab the old man’s legs and drag him over to the rails. We do the same with him. *SPLASH* Then I head towards the huge muscular guy with Mikau following behind me. “Dude, this guy is huge, how the hell are we lift him?” He asks. “We just have to use some muscle.” I said back. I grab the arms and he once again grabs the legs as we struggle to lift him up, well on Mikau’s end that is, and toss him over the side. *SPLASH* Blood stains show on the deck while busted up wood pieces lie all around. “Hey dude, what do we do with the pirate?” Mikau asks me. “You mean the unprofessional pirate, basically an idiot?” I answered. “Um, yeah...” He says back. “Just leave him there, maybe he’ll see what it’s like to be imprisoned.” I said. “So now what dude?” Mikau asks. “Well…” I head towards the front of the ship to the steer and start the ship to the right. “We’re heading to Amadon.” I said. “Dude, I want to go home.” He responses quickly. I look back at him. “I don’t have time, if you want to go, then jump for it.” I said. “What?” He says. I look back at him once again “Look, I don’t have time to explain, I must get to Amadon or you or anyone else won’t have a home to go to.” I explained. “What the hell do you mean bro?” He asks. I look back at him again. “Somewhere there is four temples hidden in this world and these temples each hold a stone of each element that controls the elements of this world, until some idiot had to come along and steal them, now we have a serious problem on our hands. Now, I must get the stones back before more disasters hit and make this world into a one  giant creator.” As I tied to explain going full speed to Amadon, but since it’s an older ship, it’s not as fast. “Your kidding.. right bro?” He asks. “No.” I responded. He pauses for a couple of minutes. “Damn! You would think that these pirates would at least have a decent ship.” I said. “Like you said bro, their unprofessional pirates, basically idiots.” He says. I look back at him and smile. “You in this by yourself bro?” He asks. “No, there are three others.” I said. “Others?” He asks. “Yes, one of them, a half-undine, was the first to discover what was going on. I’m trying to meet up with them at Amadon to hopefully recover the fire stone.” I explained “Why would someone want these stone for anyways bro?” He asks. “I don’t know, that’s what we’re trying to find out.” I said and continue to head for Amadon…

Stars were scattered across the dark sky. The moon was merely a thin crescent, and clouds were absent. The cool night breeze felt very good. After a while I decided to see the captain and ask about our arrival at Amadon. "I’ll be taking you to Scaly Port. It’s a pretty fair place, and I’m sure you lot won’t have trouble there," he said. He seemed happy that he would be out of the sea. Then he began to whistle a tune, which I assumed was common to sea travellers like him. "The Serenals are still out there. Are you going to be okay on your way back?" I asked. "Yup. I take a different route whenever I go from Amadon to Stafnar. I never met any of those nasty creatures there. Sure, I’ll be fine." I yawned, and I just realized that the night was biting in. I bid the captain a good night, and I started off to my room. I lied down on by back, my hads behind my head. I was thinking of the whole issue of the Stones. So far, we only have one Stone, which is the water, and we’re on the tail of the Fire Stone. I wonder what awaits us in Amadon. I hope War Golems are out of the list....

Somehow, I couldn’t sleep tonight. Perhaps it was because I’m anxious, that I can’t wait to land.  But somehow, I’m feeling homesick. I miss my wife, my stepparents, everybody back in the ‘hood.  I lifted myself out of bed quietly and slipped on my clothes. I calibrated the sniper scope on my spear launcher, and sharpened my glaive and spears. We land tomorrow morning, and I want to be able to survive so that I can see my home again…

IC:

Da pirate awakes. “UnTIE ME OR DIE!” He yells a few times. “Hey Clyde, what do we do with this dude now?” I asked. “Forget him, leave him there to suffer.” He says back. “HEY YOU! UNTIE ME NOW!” Da pirate yells again. Out of da dark land appears infront of us. “Looks like Amadon.” Clyde says. “It’s dark bro no cities no nothing.” I say to continue da conversation. *Clunk bang* da ships comes to a stop on land. “Bro, do you know where to go from here?” I ask him. Clyde looks at me. “I remember da way to da ruins from a map, but since I don’t have it, I hope I’ll find it easily.” He says walking to da back of da ship. “Nice...” I say to myself. I follow him and da pirate sees us. “YOU!” He says looking surprised. “Yes, us.” Clyde says back. Clyde walks over to da side and drops da ramp onto da land. “Where are we!” The pirate demands. “Amadon dude.” I said. He just looks at me puzzled. “Well, you can’t leave me here alone.” The pirate says. “Yes, that’s why were taking you with us.” Cylde said to him. Da pirate is speechless. Clyde goes over to da pirate and ties his hands behind his back and cuts the rope from the sail pole. “To keep you out of trouble.” Cylde says to him. Da pirate grins at him while getting up. “Whats your business here?” He asks. “Your name?” Clyde asks. “Rick.” He says sarcasticly. “Mikau.” I said to him. “This is not greeting time.” Clyde says. “Bro, clyde, I was just being friendly.” I said back. “Clyde? Strange name for an Elf isn’t it?” Rick says. Clyde just grins at him. “Come on, lets go.” Clyde says while pushing Rick forwards. Now were off da ship and on land. Da sandy shores remind of da hood. :P Da night doesn’t help to see anything. Da three of us travel though da jungle and suddenly loud crunching is around us. “SHH!” Clyde says. Rick looks worried. “Amadon of all places.” Rick says quietly. Da cruching is around us again. Clyde motions us to be quiet as he pulls out his blueish sword. “What da hell is that?” I asked. “Shut up!” Rick says. “Dude, don’t tell me to shut up.” I said back. Clyde gets my attention. “Quiet!” He whispers. “For what.” I say and suddenly da cruching gets closer. “SHUT UP YOU IDIOT!” Rick yells and suddenly tries to runs for it but huge snakes appear out of da bushes. They stand on hind legs, never seen them before but they look like they don’t like us already. We all stop and we become surrounded by 8 of them. Both Clyde and Rick turn to look at me ticked off. “Whooops…”

Oh. Me, I’m so sad that we would have a week off’ I mean, I don’t know what to do with a week off, and school is better. Keeps me busy...

IC:

My dream last night was uneventful. I’m glad I’m awake, because there is sure to be something good to happen-or bad.  I saw that we had already stopped at Scaly Port. It didn’t look so bad. I had a good feeling that we’re going to have a good time here as our stop. But we must not stay herre for so long, because that vision still worries me. I noticed that the Port’s scenery was not the same as the town in my vision. "Okay, we’re here. I’ll stay here for a while, too. I’m taking a break. Then I’ll be off for Stafnar. You folks should be all right at the Sunset Inn. It’s a fine place, Sunset Inn," said the captain. After he told us a bit more about the town, he secured the ship and escorted us out of it. We parted. The first place we went to was the inn. It was not very crowded. Andrew bought us some beverages, and we sat down at one table. "I wonder how Clyde’s doing," said Bigman. "I’m sure he’s not dead as of now. Serenals are kind of choosy about killing their captives," I said.  I happened to glance to my left, and saw four men whose clothes bore a marking. I nearly choked, but I tried not to show anyone. I slowly hid my amulet inside my robes. To others, the markings on the four guys’ robes would merely be some sort of design, but to me, they’re the markings of the Undine Hunters. Black, swirly lines across their clothes.... I realized something else: I’m blue’ My hair was blue, my eyes were blue, my robes were blue. I could be easily noticed by these men. Fortunately, we were six tables from us. That gave me some relief. However, I still must leave...

Andrew suddenly spoke. I hadn’t noticed him calling me. "Anything wrong?" he asked. I couldn’t hide it from them, and I realized I shouldn’t. "Undine Hunters, six tables away from us," I explained. "See those swirly, black lines on thier clothes? It’s their secret mark. To others, they’re just designs, but I recognize a Hunter’s mark when I see one." "And I assume you want to get away from them, right?" said Bigman. "Why don’t we just take them on?" "We can do that, but they are strong magicians as well as warriors. They’re also sure to call an army when they fight," I said. "Here, take this. Maybe you can fool them with a disguise," Andrew suggested as he slipped a bottle of hair dye to my had under the table. I put on my hood and tried to be unnoticed by anyone as I went upstairs. Once I reached the room, I gave a sigh of relief. Looking at Andrew’s bottle, I got a little confident. Maybe they can be fooled; no one’s good at everything, not even Hunters.  I walked over back to our table. "Can we help you?" asked Bigman as I sat down. "It’s me. I tried to change my robes from blue to green, but I got brown. It doesn’t seem bad....So, how do I look?" "Like a beggar," said Bigman, to whom I agreed. My hair is now blonde. Though, by brows still prove I’m blue-haired. I glanced back at the Undine Hunters’ table. They seemed to have not noticed. Andrew put down his mug, and said, "We better go now, before more trouble arrives." I was really glad he said that. We went out of the inn after paying.

Sorry Curare, but since the last posts were lost, I’ll post for you this time to tie up the story…

IC:

After we left the inn I felt more relaxed. Andrew looked at the map the Chief Orc gave us along the way. “It’s not making much sense.” He said studying the map some more, Bigman goes over to see the same problem. I must contact my mother for help, maybe she might know. I walk out some more by myself and sit down to meditate in a clearing. No answer. Very strange. Something is blocking it. I try a few spells but nothing yet. I try some more until something grabs my attention. I hear footsteps nearby and go over to see. I peer though the bushes making sure to keep myself hidden. A group is standing in the middle of the jungle. Their presense feels wrong. I try to listen, but can’t seem to hear. I get closer to see them. One is covered by a hooded robe with strange symbols all down it. The other two, one human, and the other, an Elf. At first I thought it was Clyde, but he doesn’t have dark hair, and besides, he wouldn’t be here for those Serenals. The two finally leave and disappear leaving the one in robes behind. He moves along and suddenly looks right at me as fear runs up and down my spine and neck. I’m completely frozen while he walks and stares directly at me and suddenly disappears between two trees. Just like that, no sign of him at all. I quickly head to Andrew and Bigman to tell them…

To be continued…
